Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust managing trustee R.J. Rathnakar on Sunday (September 6, 2026) launched a 38-day free training programme in ‘Tally with GST’ for women. Thirty-five women from economically weaker sections are participating in the programme being conducted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations with support from Canara Bank RSETI.

Mr. Rathnakar said practical skills and encouragement could help young people become confident and self-reliant. He announced that a permanent skill development centre would soon be established in Puttaparthi to provide continuous training and employment opportunities.

State president of the organisation R. Lakshmana Rao said around 20,000 youth had been trained in employment-oriented courses across Andhra Pradesh in the last four years. He said 23 permanent skill development centres were currently functioning in the State.
