24 injured as bus rams toll plaza pillar at Kumbalam

Twenty-four people were injured after a private bus they were travelling in rammed a pillar of the Kumbalam toll plaza on Friday morning. The accident took place around 8 a.m. as the bus, which was on its way to Kaloor from Eramalloor, reportedly lost control.

The injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital and given emergency care.

The toll plaza pillar was damaged in the impact of the accident, and vehicle movement through one of the lanes was affected.

The Panangad police registered a case.
