The State government has informed the Kerala High Court that the tenure of the Chief Vigilance Officer of the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has been extended till January 31, 2027.

A Division Bench of Justice V. Raja Vijayaraghavan and K.V. Jayakumar directed the State to extend the tenure of two civil police officers assisting the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer and fill up the existing vacancy of one sub-inspector on deputation basis.

The court instructed the State to act expeditiously on the matter considering the Vigilance wing’s significant role in maintaining transparency and ensuring effective supervision at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam.
