Mental health wellness centre for GCC workers opened

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) on Wednesday opened a mental health wellness centre, Mind Mantra, at Ripon Buildings for its employees, in association with CREDAI Foundation, Chennai, and Dhruti Trust.

GCC Commissioner G.S. Sameeran inaugurated the centre that aims to raise mental health awareness among employees and help them manage stress and build emotional resilience. Employees can register through the helpline or in-person on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and receive counselling from psychologists and counsellors on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
