Members of the Andhra Pradesh Joint Action Committee (AP JAC) have appealed to the government to solve their long-pending demands immediately.

Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday (August 23, 2026), JAC president A. Vidyasagar and secretary general K.S.S. Prasad said the issues related to the Pay Revision Commission (PRC), dearness allowance (DA), surrender leave and the problems of outsourcing employees should be considered immediately.

The AP JAC (Employees, Teachers, Workers and Pensioners) had put the demands before the government, and the Group of Ministers had held discussions with the JAC leaders, but there was no proper response, Mr. Vidyasagar said.

The government should hold talks with the AP JAC immediately and consider the genuine demands of the committee, Mr. Prasad said. The AP JAC would hold a State-level meeting on September 5 if the government did not respond to the pending demands, he said. The leaders would announce an action plan to press their demands on September 5, Mr. Vidyasagar said, and appealed to the government to solve the problems amicably through talks.
