Industry leaders and emerging professionals came together for LeadHership, a two-hour interactive event focused on gender, ambition, leadership and professional networks in workplace, in Hyderabad, on Thursday.

Organised by Ananya-Women@Work, a diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) consulting organisation, and TheProjeKT40, a support network for women at career turning points, the event sought to create an open platform for conversations on women’s leadership.

The session featured candid insights from industry leaders on navigating workplace dynamics and power structures, besides building reliable professional support networks. Speakers drew from their experiences to highlight challenges faced by women while taking up leadership roles and shared practical strategies to address them.

The event moved beyond conventional lectures, with participants taking part in focused table conversations. They exchanged personal experiences, discussed workplace situations and explored ways to navigate organisational power structures while supporting and mentoring others.

The organisers said such conversations were increasingly important as workplaces evolved and organisations redefined leadership. Building supportive professional communities and addressing structural barriers, they said, were essential to creating more equitable workplaces where women could thrive.
