Mahakavi Gurajada’s writing style a guiding force for new writers: Literary leaders

Abhyudaya Rachayitala Sangham’s Vizianagaram district president G.S. Chalam and general secretary Ratnala Balakrishna said that the writing style of the play ‘Kanyasulkam’ by writer Gurajada Apparao would continue to serve as a guiding force for young writers, and will help them to pen serious issues in a sarcastic and light-hearted manner that quickly captures the attention of the readers.

At a function organised in Vizianagaram on Tuesday night, they released ‘Gurajada Annarasha,’ book written by writer and journalist Bobbili Sridhar who conducted research on the writing style, idioms and phrases used by Mahakavi Gurajada Apparao in literary works.

Sikkolu Book Trust founder Duppala Ravikumar, who published the book said his organisation would continue to encourage young writers who create awareness among the masses about social evils through their writings. Writers B. Vijayeswara Rao, Narayana Venu and others attended.
