Special campaign days will be held at all polling stations in the seven Assembly constituencies of Visakhapatnam district on August 22 and 23 to facilitate electoral roll enrolment, corrections, and verification under SIR-2026.

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be available with the SIR-2026 draft electoral roll and application forms. Eligible citizens who have completed 18 years, and those whose names are missing from the draft roll, can apply for enrolment using Form 6 and the prescribed declaration.

Voters can use Form 8 to correct errors in their name, address, or other details, or to shift their electoral registration after changing residence. BLOs will also facilitate verification of ASDD, unmapped, and logical discrepancy lists and guide voters on the required procedures.

Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers will visit polling stations to monitor the exercise and guide BLOs. Citizens have been urged to verify their details and submit applications wherever necessary.
