Three booked for hoisting national flag upside down in Kalaburagi

The police have registered a case against three people on the charge that the national flag was hoisted upside down during an Independence Day programme at a Government High School in Jawali (D) village, Aland taluk of Kalaburagi district.

The school organised the flag hoisting ceremony on Saturday. A video showing the national flag being hoisted upside down has been circulated on social media.

Based on the video, Shashidhar Navarang of Nimbarga lodged a complaint with the police.

The Nimbarga Police have registered a case against guest teacher Rajasekhar Haralayya, School Development and Monitoring Committee president Yallamma Haralayya and in-charge headmaster Vishwanath Math.
