Child seriously injured after falling from second floor

A two-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after falling from the second floor of a building in Chikka Adugodi, in the limits of the Madiwala Police Station, Bengaluru.

The incident took place on Sunday around 10.50 a.m. The toddler was playng outside the house. The child reportedly climbed onto a grill, lost balance and fell from the second floor.

He hit the ground and reportedly bounced before falling again, suffering serious injuries. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. Passers-by rushed to the child’s rescue. The injured toddler was shifted to a private hospital where it is currently being treated at an Intensive Care Unit.

The police conducted inquiries with the parents for further investigation.
