Free orthopaedic, diabetic foot care camp held in Vellore

A free orthopaedic, diabetic foot care camp was held at Sathuvachari near the Collectorate in Vellore on Saturday as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations.

According to a press release, participants at the camp, which was organised by MMM Ortho Hospital, were screened for knee pain, back pain, neck pain, arthritis, heel pain, and joint stiffness.

More than 500 persons of all age groups attended the camp where free bone mineral densitometry check-up and monofilament test were provided. The camp was aimed at creating awareness of early diagnosis and timely treatment.
