Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka invited entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders, medical professionals and other prominent members of the Bay Area business community to consider Telangana as a preferred destination for investment and expansion.

He wanted them to work closely with the State Government in translating new ideas into enterprises, creating quality employment and advancing Telangana’s vision of broad-based economic growth. The State Government was pursuing a progressive, transparent and investment-friendly development model with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, employment generation and social inclusion.

The State offered a compelling combination of skilled human resources, high-quality infrastructure, a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and responsive governance. The dinner hosted by Consul General of India K. Srikar Reddy for Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka brought together members of the Indian diaspora and leaders from industry, technology, medicine, professional services, human resources and other sectors in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Deputy Chief Minister outlined several key initiatives undertaken by the State Government like the rejuvenation of the Musi River, comprehensive urban-development programmes, expansion of infrastructure and the establishment of Young India Skills University and skill-development centres to prepare Telangana’s youth for the jobs of the future.

Mr. Srikar Reddy underlined the importance of strengthening engagement between the Indian diaspora and governments in India. Business and professional community should adopt a forward-looking approach and explore deeper partnerships that could generate mutual benefits while contributing to inclusive economic and social development in India. Mr. Vikramarka said the State Government was committed not only to sustaining the growth momentum but also to creating new frontiers of growth and employment across emerging sectors.
