The AIADMK’s Member of Parliament C.Ve. Shanmugam on Monday met Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder S. Ramadoss at the latter’s residence in Thailapuram near Tindivanam.
The meeting lasted for nearly 45 minutes. Though there was no public statement from either of the parties, the meeting assumed importance in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
Sources said Mr. Shanmugam had met Mr. Ramadoss to invite him for his nephew’s wedding in October in Chennai.
