Eluru District Collector K. Vetri Selvi on Sunday appealed to citizens to share their feedback on services provided through the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) by scanning QR codes displayed at district and mandal-level centres.
The Collector, on Sunday, said the State government was striving to provide more transparent, accountable and citizen-centric services and had initiated a continuous feedback mechanism to assess public satisfaction and strengthen the grievance redressal system.
As part of the initiative, QR codes will be prominently displayed at the entry and exit points of district and mandal-level PGRS centres to enable visitors to record their experiences and satisfaction levels after availing themselves of the services.
Officials have been directed to ensure that the codes are printed clearly and installed in easily accessible and visible locations. The Collector also instructed officials to place the QR codes on notice boards, help desks, complaint counters and other public areas to encourage wider participation.
Citizens could use their mobile phones to scan the QR codes immediately after receiving services and submit their feedback directly to the official PGRS portal, Ms. Selvi said, adding that applicants could also check the status of their petitions by calling the toll-free number 1100.
The Collector urged the public to make full use of the grievance redressal mechanism and contribute suggestions to help improve the quality of services delivered by the administration.
She also encouraged people to submit their grievances during the PGRS sessions conducted every Monday at the Collectorate and mandal offices and to provide feedback through the newly introduced QR code system.
