Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will conduct an aerial survey of the north Karnataka districts affected by flood and heavy rains on Tuesday.

Mr. Siddaramaiah will arrive in Kalaburagi airport by 10.40 a.m. by a special flight. He will hold a meeting with the district authorities and senior officials of various departments at Kalaburagi airport to take stock of flood situation in the region before embarking on the aerial survey.

The Chief Minister will conduct an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in parts of North Karnataka districts between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.

In the afternoon, Mr. Siddaramaiah will chair a meeting with officials from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir and Vijayapura districts to review the situation arising from incessant rains across the North Karnataka region.

The survey was scheduled after the Minister for Forest and Ecology Minister Eshwar Khandre and Minister for Municipal Administration Rahim Khan met Mr. Siddaramaiah on Sunday evening, requesting him to take up relief measures and also to announce a special package for affected farmers immediately.
