HUL shares rebound nearly 4% post Q1 results rout, here’s why

Shares of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) rebounded nearly 5 per cent on Wednesday, a day after falling nearly 7 per cent following its April-June quarter earnings. The stock opened in the green at Rs 2,043.65, a gain of Rs 20.5 or 1.01 per cent, from the previous close of Rs 2,023.15 on the BSE. The positive momentum continued, and the scrip touched an intraday high of Rs 2,103.50, a gain of Rs 80.35, or 3.97 per cent, from the last closing price.
