Govt. reconstitutes Sanskrit varsity Syndicate

The United Democratic Front (UDF) government has nominated eight persons to the Syndicate of the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS), Kalady, replacing the ones nominated by the previous dispensation.

The new nominees are Suni K.P. (Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, Sree Sankara College, Kalady), K.K. Krishnakumar (Assistant Professor, Department of Theatre, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady), K.B. Sabu (lawyer, Ashram Road, Kalady), Salahudeen (Assistant Professor, Department of History, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkad, Palakkad), Anison K. Koy (Mattoor, Kalady), P. Radhakrishnan (Associate Professor, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady), Jinitha K.S. (Associate Professor, Department of Vyakarana, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady), and Kiran Reji (third semester student of MSW Disaster Management, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady), according to an order dated July 16, 2026, issued by the Department of Higher Education.
