For over three decades, Dharamvir Kumar Tyagi ‘RAVI’ has dedicated his life to two powerful missions educating young minds and inspiring readers through literature. A respected science educator, author, mentor, and academic leader, he has built a career defined not merely by professional achievements but by his unwavering commitment to nurturing knowledge, values, and creativity. orn in 1971 into a farming family in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Dharamvir Kumar Tyagi began his educational journey in his village before studying at the prestigious Sainik School Ghorakhal, Nainital, and later graduating from Kumaun University. His strong academic foundation in science, combined with a deep love for literature and poetry, eventually shaped a unique career that seamlessly bridges education and creative expression. With more than 30 years of experience, he has earned the respect of students, parents, and fellow educators for his innovative teaching methodologies and student-centred approach. Throughout his career, he has served as an Academic Coordinator, CBSE Examination Deputy Superintendent, Examination Head, Science Olympiad Coordinator, and Student Counsellor, contributing significantly to both academic excellence and holistic student development.

Recognising that education must evolve with changing times, Dharamvir Kumar Tyagi has consistently embraced modern pedagogical practices, including collaborative learning, experiential education, flipped classrooms, and technology-enabled teaching. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully transitioned to digital education, ensuring uninterrupted learning while supporting students academically and emotionally during an exceptionally challenging period. Beyond the classroom, his literary contributions have earned widespread appreciation. Writing under the name ‘RAVI’, he has authored five books—Koshish-Jara See, Hidden Ties, The “YOU”, I, Me and Myself, and The Book Not to Read covering themes such as self-discovery, resilience, relationships, motivation, and personal growth. He has also contributed to 14 co-authored anthologies, further strengthening his presence in contemporary literature. Dharamvir Kumar Tyagi ‘RAVI’ has been honoured with numerous national recognitions for his outstanding contributions to education and literature. His notable awards include:
