Actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma hosted a grand wedding reception on Sunday (July 12), which turned into a star-studded affair with several Bollywood stars making an appearance.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha arrived at the event with her mother. She opted for an all-black outfit, while her mother was dressed in a traditional saree.

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor marries Sharan Sharma
For the unversed, the Gram Chikitsalay actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma got married on July 11, 2026, in an intimate civil wedding. For the special day, she opted for a custom Arpita Mehta sari and complemented her look with regal jewellery. On the other hand, groom Sharan Sharma was seen in an ivory kurta with a bundi jacket.
Sharing the wedding pictures, Akansha wrote, “tu na toh ghar ghar nahi lagta tu hain toh darr nahi lagta (When you’re not here, this place doesn’t feel like home. When you’re with me, nothing feels scary.)”
Akansha and Sharan’s wedding took place in the garden of their residence and was attended by close friends and family members. Ahead of the wedding, the couple hosted several pre-wedding celebrations, including a sangeet ceremony. Pictures and videos from the event soon surfaced online, showing Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and other celebrities dancing to popular Bollywood songs.
