Webinar to mark World Heart Day on September 29

To mark World Heart Day, Kauvery Hospital, in association with The Hindu, will host a webinar titled “Heart Health: Inside and Out” as part of its wellness series. The session is scheduled for Monday at 11.30 a.m.

The programme will highlight preventive strategies, treatment options, and the latest developments in cardiac care.

Experts will address various issues ranging from congenital heart diseases to heart attacks in young adults. 

Speakers include Arunkumar Krishnaswamy, Senior Consultant in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, who will speak on the recent advancements in coronary artery bypass surgery; Bharath Kumar G., Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Radial Road, who will focus on heart attacks among young adults; and S.P. Vinothkumar, Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology at Maa Kauvery, Tiruchi, who will discuss congenital heart disease.
