The Telangana government has completed the fifth phase of disbursement under the Rythu Bharosa–Vanakalam 2026 investment support scheme, releasing financial assistance worth ₹7,135.77 crore to 67.44 lakh farmers covering 118.93 lakh acres as of July 4.
On the fifth day of the rollout, the government credited ₹545.41 crore into the bank accounts of 1.68 lakh farmers holding up to six acres, covering 9.09 lakh acres.
The phased disbursement began on June 30, with farmers owning up to one acre and up to two acres receiving assistance on the first day. A total of 26.55 lakh beneficiaries with holdings up to one acre received ₹878.94 crore, while 17.72 lakh farmers with holdings up to two acres were credited ₹1,603.08 crore.
On July 1, assistance of ₹1,590.02 crore was released to 10.68 lakh farmers owning up to three acres. This was followed by the release of ₹1,330.33 crore on July 2 to 6.39 lakh beneficiaries with holdings up to four acres.
On July 3, the government credited ₹1,188 crore to 4.41 lakh farmers cultivating up to five acres. With the completion of payments up to six-acre holdings, the government has so far extended investment support to 67.44 lakh beneficiaries, covering 118.93 lakh acres, with total assistance amounting to ₹7,135.77 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for the Vanakalam 2026 season.
