N. Murali, Chairman, and Malini Parthasarathy, Director, The Hindu Group Publishing Private Limited (THGPPL), on Thursday (July 2, 2026) called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat in Chennai.

Mr. Murali congratulated the Chief Minister on the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s (TVK) historic victory in the 2026 Assembly elections. He also explained the current media scene, underscoring the credibility of The Hindu and the importance of the print media as a reliable advertising vehicle for the government to communicate its schemes to the people.

Dr. Parthasarathy appreciated the development schemes of the government, including the Singappen Special Force.

They also presented the Chief Minister with books published by The Hindu Group of Publications.
