KRV activists detained for disrupting Hindi diwas

The High Grounds Police on Thursday detained as many as 40-members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike for disrupting Hindi Diwas held at Taj West End Hotel on Thursday .

The protestors barged into the hotel shouted slogans, tore the banners and disrupted the programme creating panic situation among the participants.

The police rushed to the spot and rounded up the protestors and detained them.

The City Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh ordered inquiry into the incident to ascertain any security lapses on the part of the police for necessary action.
