In a novel initiative to curb rash driving and enhance road safety, the Sultanabad police in Peddapalli district have installed 3D animated replicas of police patrol vehicles at two accident-prone locations on Rajiv Rahadari (State Highway 1).

The initiative is aimed at preventing traffic violations and road accidents through visible policing, which serves as an effective deterrent against overspeeding and drunk driving, police said.

The 3D animated models have been installed at Narayanapur Crossroads and near the SRSP canal at Katnapalli, identified as accident-prone stretches of the busy State highway. The replicas have been fitted with radium reflectors to ensure visibility during the night.
