Awareness programmes were held for students and families about higher education opportunities and financial support, according to TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation.

The TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation (TVSCSF) has invited applications for its interest-free educational loan scheme for students pursuing engineering, nursing, and diploma courses in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for the 2026-27 academic year. The deadline for receiving applications is August 31, according to a press release.

Engineering applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in the Class X or Class XII examinations, and belong to families with an annual income of up to ₹8 lakh. Students applying for diploma and nursing courses must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks and belong to families with an annual income of up to ₹5 lakh. Students admitted under the management quota or the 7.5% reservation quota are not eligible.

Repayment begins two years after completing the course and securing employment, the release said.
