The weekly Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) programme scheduled to be held at the District Collectorate on Monday has been cancelled, District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore said on Sunday.

In a statement, the Collector said the decision had been taken in view of the preparations for the visit of the President of India to Visakhapatnam on June 30. As the district administration is fully engaged in making arrangements for the President’s visit, officials will not be available to conduct the grievance redressal programme.

The Collector appealed to the public and complainants to take note of the temporary cancellation of this week’s PGRS and extend their cooperation to the district administration.
