The Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence department deployed 10 fire tenders and firefighting personnel across Hyderabad’s Old City to ensure emergency preparedness during the Youm-e-Aashura (10th Moharram) procession.

Fire service personnel were strategically stationed along the route of the traditional Bibi-Ka-Alam procession to enable a swift response to any fire or other emergency and ensure public safety throughout the event.

The fire tenders were positioned at key locations, including the ACP Offices at Charminar, Goshamahal, Asif Nagar and Malakpet, Moghalpura Water Tank, Madina X Road, Alawa-e-Bibi at Dabeerpura, Darul Shifa Masjid Ground and Afzal Gunj police station.

Senior Fire Service officers also conducted surprise inspections at various deployment points to assess the alertness, discipline and preparedness of personnel stationed along the procession route.
