The Government of Bihar has allotted 15 acres of land near Patna for the construction of the Lord Venkateswara temple. The site is located close to the banks of the Ganga and adjacent to a national highway.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chowdary and thanked him for the land allotment. Mr. Naidu felicitated Mr. Chowdary with a ceremonial shawl and presented him a memento of Lord Venkateswara. Bihar Chief Secretary Amrit Pratyay was present.

The proposed temple complex comprises the main shrine, a Kalyana Mandapam, a Pushkarini and other essential infrastructure to cater to the devotees. The TTD plans to expedite the construction process.

The initiative forms part of the TTD’s broader vision to expand the propagation of Sanatana Dharma and strengthen the spiritual connect of Lord Venkateswara devotees across the country. The Bihar project follows the allotment of 10 acres of land for a similar temple in Guwahati, Assam.
