District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore on Monday directed officials to make arrangements for the regional celebrations scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on June 17 to mark the completion of two years of the State government. During a review meeting at the Collectorate, he said the event should reflect the district’s developmental achievements and progress of major projects over the past two years.

Officials were asked to prepare comprehensive reports on initiatives across sectors, with particular focus on information technology, skill development and education. The Collector also called for the documentation of successful welfare schemes and beneficiary success stories.

Exhibition stalls at the venue will showcase development works, ongoing infrastructure projects and implementation of government welfare programmes. Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari, DRO M. Visweswara Naidu and district-level officers attended the meeting.
