Lingamaneni Ramesh files nomination papers as JSP candidate for Rajya Sabha polls

Lingamaneni Ramesh filed his nomination papers as Jana Sena Party (JSP) candidate for elections to the Rajya Sabha, at the Legislative Assembly on Saturday. He submitted his nomination papers to Returning Officer R. Vanita Rani.

Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra, MPs V. Balashowry and T. Uday Srinivas, MLC K. Nagababu, MLAs Nakka Ananda Babu, Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu, N. Eswara Rao, Prattipati Pulla Rao and Giddi Satyanarayana, JSP’s Whip in the Legislative Council P. Hariprasad, and others were present.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Ramesh received the B-Form from Deputy Chief Minister and JSP president K. Pawan Kalyan at the party’s central office near Mangalagiri.

Addressing the media after filing his nomination papers, Mr. Ramesh expressed his gratitude to Mr. Pawan Kalyan for trusting and giving him an opportunity to become a member of the Rajya Sabha. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for supporting him.
