Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University (SSCTU), Mulugu, Telangana, in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad is offering M.A. in Public Policy and Governance.

In a release issued in Hyderabad on Thursday (June 4, 2026), SSCTU Dean of Academics Prof. G. Ram Reddy invited applications for admission into the new course this academic year. The M.A. in Public Policy and Governance is an interdisciplinary postgraduate programme designed to develop skilled public policy professionals capable of addressing contemporary governance and development challenges.

The programme combines academic rigour with practical policy engagement, preparing graduates for leadership roles in government, development agencies, public institutions, research organizations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and international development sectors.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible. The highlight of the two-year programme is the curriculum integrates perspectives from Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Management, Data Analytics, Environmental Studies.

Interested candidates are requested to visit the university website and register their interest through the Google Form provided.

The university website can be accessed at www.ssctu.ac.in. Last Date for submission of applications is June 28, 2026.
