A woman employee of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) on Friday (May 29, 2026) said she has filed a fresh complaint against three office-bearers of the film forum, alleging workplace harassment, conspiracy, and character assassination.

Athulya P., a resident of Aluva, said she filed the complaint against AMMA general secretary Cuckoo Parameswaran, treasurer Unni Shivapal, and executive committee member Neena Kurup with the District Police Chief (Kochi city).

She had earlier lodged two separate complaints with the District Police Chief on May 2, 2026, and May 12, 2026, questioning her alleged illegal termination from service at the AMMA office. The complaints were filed against Mr. Shivapal and Ms. Parameswaran.

The police are yet to register cases on the complaints.

Though Ms. Athulya was reinstated following the executive committee’s decision on May 12, she said she approached the police against the three actors as they allegedly continued to target her. Ms. Kurup had earlier filed a complaint with the Hill Palace police, accusing Ms. Athulya of leaking a private phone conversation.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Ms. Athulya alleged that she learned during the executive meeting on May 12 about a conspiracy to fabricate stories aimed at tarnishing her personal and professional image. She has also sought police protection.
