Sundays on Cycle initiative for CISF inaugurated in Ranipet

In collaboration with the Sports Authority of India, Rajaditya Chola Regional Training Center in Thakkolam near Arakkonam town in Ranipet district has launched ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative for CISF personnel at the Center on Sunday.

According to a press release, the initiative, which was part of Fit India movement, was aimed to encourage use of cycles by CISF personnel as part of environmental conservation efforts. It also aimed to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and fitness.

Around 100 cyclists, mainly CISF personnel, passed Thakkolam village and interacted with residents to create awareness on fitness and environmental conservation. Mithlesh Kumar, DIG and Principal, RC RTC (Thakkolam) and Nilesh Kumar, Senior Commandant and Vice Principal, RC RTC, were present, the release said.
