Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat held an interactive meeting with ward presidents, secretaries, cluster in-charges and parliamentary committee members of the North Assembly Constituency at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Parliamentary Constituency office in the city on Thursday (May 21, 2026).

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sribharat said leaders and cadre of the coalition parties, who had directly witnessed the hardships faced by the people during the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, must recognise their responsibility and work with sincerity in public service. He said people’s grievances should be collected with proper supporting evidence and acted on within a definite time frame.

He advised TDP workers to act as a bridge between the government and the public, and to stand firmly with the people.

During the meeting, party leaders raised several issues concerning the North Assembly Constituency with the MP, including changes arising from ward reorganisation, the Urban Land Ceiling issue from the previous YSRCP government, dust pollution from the port area and the movement of heavy vehicles on city roads in violation of traffic rules.

The MP assured the cadre that he would help resolve public grievances with the officials concerned.

Visakhapatnam TDP Parliamentary Constituency president Chode Pattabhiram, general secretary Lodagala Krishna and other party leaders and workers took part.

A special grievance redressal programme was held for party workers, during which the MP reviewed ward-wise public issues and local conditions.
