Projects worth ₹9,400 crore lined up for Hyderabad visit

Mr. Modi is on a three-State tour of Karnataka, Telangana and Gujarat on May 10 and 11. He participated in the 45th anniversary celebrations of The Art of Living in Bengaluru on Sunday (May 10, 2026) morning, before travelling to Hyderabad to lay the foundation stone, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore. He is also expected to address a public gathering during the Hyderabad visit.

The Prime Minister will dedicate the Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad, a cancer-focused multi-super speciality not-for-profit institution, to the nation. He will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor, at a project cost of over ₹3,175 crore. The stretch is expected to cut travel time by nearly an hour and a half.

Mr. Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district, being developed at a cost of over ₹2,350 crore across 3,245 acres under the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor of the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed at an estimated ₹1,700 crore. According to the official statement, it is India’s first fully functional PM MITRA Park. He will also dedicate Indian Oil’s Malkapur Terminal Project in Hyderabad, developed at a cost of more than ₹600 crore, to the nation.

Mr. Modi will travel to Jamnagar in Gujarat on Sunday night, and will participate in the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav at the Somnath Temple at around 10.15 a.m. on Monday (May 11, 2026), followed by a visit to Vadodara, where he will inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel at around 6 p.m.
