Farmers of Koruvada village in K. Kotapadu mandal of Anakapalli district have appealed to revenue authorities to correct alleged errors in land records that arose after the recent resurvey.

At the “One Village, One Month, Four Visits” programme organised by the State government, the farmers said officials from the Revenue, Rural Development and Irrigation departments, including the MRO, MPDO and Irrigation officials, were expected to attend the village grievance meeting, but only Revenue officials turned up.

Eight farmers cultivating 1.64 cents in Survey No. 327/4 for the past 50 years said their lands were wrongly recorded as inam lands after the Jagananna resurvey, despite holding pattas and cultivation records. They said a complaint had been filed through the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) (ANPL202602236564), and the Village Revenue Officer (VRO) had conducted an inquiry, but the issue remained unresolved.

The farmers submitted a representation to the Tahsildar seeking justice. Govinda Rao and M. Ravanamma were among those who submitted the petition.
