Writers Academy organised the Dasari Short Films Competition 2026 awards ceremony at the VMRDA Children’s Arena in Visakhapatnam on Monday, marking the 80th birth anniversary of the celebrated Telugu filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao.
Veteran actor Maganti Murali Mohan, who was the chief guest of the event, said it was a matter of pride that the birth anniversary of ‘Darsaka Ratna’ Dasari Narayana Rao was being observed in Visakhapatnam.
