Four persons were killed and two others sustained injuries in a road accident near Srikalahasti town of Tirupati district on Monday (May 4, 2026), when an ambulance rammed into a stationary truck from behind. Four of the six persons travelling in the ambulance died on the spot.
The accident took place near Urandur on the Tirupati-Naidupeta stretch of the national highway. The two injured persons in the ambulance were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
