Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place for the counting of votes polled in the April 23 Assembly elections. Counting of votes is scheduled on Monday in all the nine Assembly constituencies in Cuddalore district.
According to official sources, in all four counting centres have been set up across the district. Counting for Cuddalore and Kurinjipadi assembly constituencies will be held at the Government Periyar Arts College, while that for Thittakudi (SC) and Vriddhachalam constituencies will take place at Government Kolanjipappar Arts College in Vriddhachalam.
