Delhi rain: City records minimum temperature of 24.6°C, thunderstorms likely

Delhi on Sunday (May 3, 2026) recorded a minimum temperature of 24.6°C and is likely to witness thunderstorms with rain, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD on Saturday (May 2, 2026) issued a ‘yellow’ alert for the national capital for the next two days, warning of rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds. The cloudy skies and intermittent rain are expected to persist till May 6.
