Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on May 1, 2026 (Friday) launched a blistering attack against the Opposition, accusing it of pursuing destructive politics, while asserting that only performance-driven leadership would have a place in his government.

Addressing a public meeting in connection with the May Day and ‘Pedala Sevalo’ programmes here, Mr. Naidu made it clear that under-performing MLAs would not be renominated.
