From filter coffee to idli, dosa, meals and beyond, eating out in Bengaluru is set to pinch more after the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in the city touched ₹3,152 following a steep ₹993 hike announced by the Union Government on May 1 — an all-time high.

Beverages are set to get costlier by about 25%, while food items are likely to rise by at least 20% across small and mid-scale eateries, hoteliers confirmed.
