Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that a foolproof system of issuing Bhudhar numbers for each land parcel on the lines of Aadhaar cards is being introduced in the State to ensure transparency in land transactions.

A pilot project is being implemented in a few select mandals in the State, including Kusumanchi mandal in Khammam district, to issue Bhudhar numbers (unique land identification figures) for every land parcel by incorporating survey maps during the land registration process, he added.
