Jharkhand Police arrest prime accused in West Singhbhum treasury-fraud case

Jharkhand Police have arrested the prime accused in a fraudulent withdrawal case from West Singhbhum treasury, along with three others, and sent them to judicial custody,” an officer said on Wednesday (April 29, 2026).

Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Sadar, Chaibasa) Bahaman Tutu told PTI that the accused were arrested on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) and produced before a court after completion of legal formalities.
