To ease the growing demand for passport services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad, has announced a special Passport Mela on May 9, during which 4,000 normal passport appointments will be made available across all five Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) functioning under its jurisdiction.

A statement from J. Snehaja, Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad said the mela is expected to help bring down the current waiting period of 8 to 10 working days for normal passport appointments at PSKs.
