Even three years after the launch of the ambitious drinking water project works for ensuring adequate water supply to the Kondagattu hill shrine in Jagtial district, the project fails to make any headway.

The foundation stone for the project was laid near Muthyampeta village near Kondagattu at an estimated outlay of ₹13.43 crore during the previous BRS government in March 2023. The project was conceived to address the water needs of the Kondagattu hill shrine on a permanent basis to fully cater to the water needs of pilgrims, sources said.
