Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy has questioned the moral right of the Congress to hold a convention of AHINDA communities, given the events that unfolded during the byelection in the Davangere South Assembly constituency.

Answering a query during an interaction with presspersons in Chitradurga on Sunday, Mr. Kumaraswamy said that people of a particular community were humiliated by denying the party ticket in Davangere. “Given this background, with what face will the Congress hold the convention of AHINDA communities?”, he wanted to know.
