Minor seriously injured in assault over personal dispute in Shivamogga

A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured after a group of assailants attacked him in Wadi-E-Huda Extension in Shivamogga on Friday (April 24, 2026) night.

The assailants employed lethal weapons during the assault before subsequently fleeing the scene. The local people and his family members took him to a hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Tunga Nagar Police have registered the case and formed teams to identify the assailants. The boy was attacked by the group over a personal matter, it is said.
