Tripura police launched a probe after a drone was found hovering over the high-security New Capital Complex in Agartala on Friday (April 23, 2026). The drone disappeared mysteriously before police could take it to their custody.
The New Capital Complex houses the State Secretariat, the Assembly and the Lok Bhavan. It used to be part of the royal-era military cantonment before new structures came up about 15 years ago.
