Brisk polling was witnessed across all six assembly constituencies in Thoothukudi district, on Thursday, with the district recording an impressive voter turnout of 80.53% as of 9:15 p.m.

Voters turned out in large numbers, forming long queues at polling stations from early morning to exercise their franchise.
